Where I’ve Been — And Why It Matters for Moms with Anxiety and Burnout

Last fall, I quietly stepped away from social media, newsletters, and the constant push to “keep up” in business.

And truthfully? I needed to.

I had reached a point where my body, my mind, and my spirit were all saying enough. I was burning the candle at both ends — working too much, pushing too hard, and living in a way that didn’t feel aligned with the very things I teach my clients every day.

So I listened.

I pulled back, not because I didn’t care, but because I knew I needed to walk the talk. I needed to rest, to heal, and to re-center. I continued supporting my one-on-one clients — because that work has always brought me life — but I gave myself permission to step away from the rest.

And now?

Now I’m coming back. But with more clarity, more calm, and a deeper sense of purpose.

Because here’s what I know for sure:

There are so many moms out there — maybe you — who feel like they’re drowning in anxiety, exhaustion, brain fog, and emotional fatigue… and they’re blaming themselves for it.

You think you’re the problem. That you just need to “manage your time better,” “try harder,” or “get it together.”

But the truth is:

Your symptoms are not your fault.

They are signals. And they’re pointing to deeper imbalances that can absolutely be healed.

What’s Really Going On?

What we often call burnout in motherhood is frequently the result of hidden stressors — things like:

  • Nutrient deficiencies

  • Hormone imbalances

  • A dysregulated nervous system

  • Neurotransmitter imbalances

  • Genetic vulnerabilities that increase your sensitivity to stress or hinder your ability to detox properly

And that’s where my work comes in.

Over the past several months, I’ve been expanding the tools I use to support my clients. In addition to the functional lab testing and customized protocols I’ve always offered, I’m now incorporating:

👉 Neurotransmitter testing — to get a clear picture of what’s happening in your brain chemistry (think serotonin, dopamine, GABA, norepinephrine — the stuff that drives your mood, focus, sleep, and emotional regulation).

👉 Genetic testing — to uncover how your unique DNA may be impacting your anxiety, stress response, detox pathways, and overall resilience.

When we combine these with lifestyle support — like nutrition, nervous system regulation, sleep, and targeted supplements — we create a powerful path to healing that’s actually doable for busy moms.
